ARLINGTON, TX — Arlington High School turned a competitive opening quarter into a decisive district victory Friday night, defeating crosstown rival Sam Houston 37–15 behind an efficient passing attack, timely scoring and a dominant second half.

The Colts finished with 352 total yards, including 226 through the air, while holding the Texans to 201 total yards. What began as a tightly contested matchup ultimately shifted in Arlington's favor after halftime as the Colts consistently moved the ball and limited Sam Houston's ability to sustain offensive momentum.

Fast Start Sets the Tone
