The Breast Cancer Beatdown took place this past Saturday. It was a great event held at Corey Seager All-Star Fields in Arlington Texas. Thirty high school and three middle school girls participated under the instruction of the WNFC Champions (Jamie Lock, Janei Benamon, Tee Wharton, and Jazmine Rambo.)

We want to give a special shout to Coach Andre Miller of Arlington Sam Houston High School for hosting this event. We would also like to thank Coach Scott Trussell of Arlington Martin High School for donating footballs and helping with setup for the event.

Special Shoutout goes to the girls of Arlington Sam Houston, Arlington Martin, Dallas Conrad, and Joey Rodriguez Junior High School. The girls came out and competed hard and had a ton of fun.

Shout to all the girls for their valiant efforts — two stood out amongst all and they were Lola Burks & Jess Ford.

Lola is a do-it-all competitor with great playmaking ability. She is an elite blitzer!

Jess is an explosive skill player with elite quickness and change of direction. She has great hands!

Both ladies played a pivotal role in their State Championship run with Martin High School.
